Panl is a group of people in the Netherlands who take part in academic research. You choose which studies you join, whenever it suits you. For every study you receive a payment to your own bank account.

Scientists in the Netherlands need people to fill in their questionnaires. Panl brings you together. You see which studies are available, how long they take and what you get for them. Panl is non-profit and runs on Next, Eyra's research platform.

Next is the research platform Panl runs on. One account is all you need for every study.

Fill in your name and choose a display name. Next then sends you an email. Click the link in that email to activate your account.
You can look around straight away. You can take part in a study once your account is activated.

Some studies look for people with certain characteristics, such as an age. Choose Go to Profile on your home page and fill in your gender and year of birth. You'll then also see the studies meant especially for you.
This is optional. You can change your characteristics whenever you like, under Account → Panl.

Your home page shows the Panl marketplace, with the studies you can take part in. You see right away how long a study takes and how much you get for it.
Tap a study to read more: what it's about, who runs it and what to expect. Interested? Choose Doe mee ("take part"). Panl studies are in Dutch.

First you read what the study is about and give your consent. Then you fill in the researcher's questionnaire. When you're done, you're taken back to Next automatically.

After the study, your reward appears on your home page, first under Awaiting. The researcher checks your contribution and approves it. You then get a notification, and the amount moves to Approved.
If a researcher doesn't approve your contribution, they'll tell you why.

Payouts go through the payment partner Online Payment Platform. Go to Account → Payouts and choose Add. Enter your mobile number. You're then taken to your own bank to verify your account with iDEAL.
You only do this once. It makes sure your rewards always end up in your own account.

Do you have €5 or more in approved rewards? Choose Pay out on your home page, then Pay out now. The amount is transferred to your verified bank account.
Paying out costs you nothing. Account → Payouts lists all your payouts.

Sometimes a researcher invites you directly, with a link to their study. At the end you'll then see an invitation to Panl. Choose Word lid van Panl ("join Panl") to take part more often.

No. Signing up, taking part and paying out are free.
That differs per study. The researcher sets the reward. You see the amount and how long the study takes before you take part.
As soon as researchers have approved your contributions and you have at least €5 in approved rewards.
It makes sure your money ends up in your own account. You verify your account with iDEAL, at your own bank. Payments are processed by Online Payment Platform.
No, that's up to you. Without them, you only see the studies that are open to everyone.
Panl studies are in Dutch. Your account pages follow your browser's language, in Dutch or English.
Each study tells you before you take part. You only give your consent once you know what happens to your answers.
